Built for the road it sits on
Chegutu is a working stop rather than a destination. Most of what comes through is commercial — haulage running between Harare and Bulawayo, farm vehicles from the surrounding block, and the light traffic of the town itself. The forecourt is laid out so a loaded truck can pull in, fuel and leave without blocking anybody behind it.
Stock comes off our own tankers on a schedule set by the site’s throughput, so the pumps stay wet through the busy end of the month. Tanks are dipped daily and the pumps are calibrated on a fixed cycle — the litre you pay for is the litre you get.
